What is Composite Decking?
Composite decking is formulated from wood fibre and plastic, including in some cases recycled products - this can make composite decking eco-friendly. The product is manufactured for strength and enhanced moisture resistance. Composite decking does not require painting or staining as it is manufactured in a range of colours and finishes.

Application and installation
Use on Bearers and Joists. It is easy to install using traditional screw applications or via concealed fixing method for an even cleaner finish. Composite decking is stylish, functional and can deliver a sophisticated look when used creatively. Ideal for use as a tradional decking application, entertaining area, for seating, BBQ areas and even pool and spa areas. It is also ideal in the the use of screens to add privacy with a maximum span between uprights of 1500mm on continuous span.

Boards can span up to 450mm joist centres in residential applications or 400mm centres for commercial, utilising an 88 x 23mm cross section board. By using a 137 x 23mm board, centres can be moved to 450mm in commercial applications. Composite Decking is also flexible enough to be bent on its edge to a radius of 5 metres, which makes it great for bordering creative shapes or use as garden edging.

Colours
A variety of colours are available, noting that colours may have a minor variation from batch to batch.
